NASA's Return to the Moon

Earlier this month our family went to the NASA Ames Research Center for a Return to the Moon Family Day. NASA held this free event at the Moffet Field location. They are planning a trip to the moon for next year to see if there is any water on the moon. Yeah I'm not sure why that's important, but maybe they'll just prove the Bible right on yet another point with this mission.

Both my kids and my husband have an interest in space, so they were all loving it! We were so glad we went. They had so much on display, activities for the kids, and informative videos to watch. Some of the highlights: Maddy looked up astronauts on the computer to find out what state they were from and Joshua loved the moon rocks and the space shuttles.
I found it all interesting even though science isn't my thing.

What a great way to learn, while having fun at the same time.
