Wordless Wednesday

It's been awhile since I posted last, 7 weeks actually. Well it's summer time so I guess I've been playing, not really, but I have been busy.

2 weeks ago my little girl turned 8. She's wanted to go scrapbooking for a long time, so she got to choose 1 friend to go along with her for a day of scrapbooking. She took her friend Analycia, they were so cute. There eyes lit up with all the stickers, paper, glitter, & punches...you can imagine the fun! After dinner we enjoyed a yummy cupcake cake that Madeline designed herself!

If one of my kids is having a birthday then that must mean my Mom was here! Yes, she was. The time seem to fly by, before I could really breathe and enjoy our visit, she was back on a plane :(

I'm very thankful she chooses to spend her vacation time coming to see us!

Wordless Wednesday

This video is really old, but it always makes me
laugh. Madeline is probably 3 and Josh is
around 6 months, so summer of 2004. Enjoy!

Madeline and her gymnastics class

Well done girls!

Madeline's gymnastics class ended last week. She received a medal of completion plus her teacher complemented her on being self motivated. Also, Madeline was able to do a back handspring for the 1st time this semester. She loves gymnastics!

Sorry for all the shaking, my hubby was recording
and can't sit still, lol!

We are so proud of Madeline. She always wants
to do her best and she definitely did this day! I'm
loving watching her grow up and become such a
wonderful little girl.

P.S. Mom this is a video, push play!

Wordless Wednesday

(once again, ignore my camera date)

When I came home on Saturday my little boy looked so grown up. Rod had taken him to get a hair cut. The stylist there styled it with a little flip up front. Doesn't he look so much older?

Mother's Day

One of the best pieces of advice I received from my Mother was...

"Pick your battles."

Wow, how did she know there would be battles! Probably because I'm her daughter, lol!

Love you Mom, Happy Mother's Day!
